Where it all begins! This is the initial form to get a basic understanding of the scope of your project. Are you interested in envelope addressing? Want to add wax seals, and liners? Maybe you want table numbers and place cards. This is where you let me know what you are looking for.
If you would like to, this is a time to chat about your ideas and vision, and how we can make it come to life. From script styles, to color choices, to timelines and everything in between; I’ll answer questions and help give an understanding of the process.
Once the major decisions have been made, I’ll send a proposal complete with an outline of piece types, materials, printing style, color selections, quantities, and timeline. This is an opportunity to confirm details, and make any adjustments to the plans if needed.
Order & Deposit
Your project will officially be placed on the books upon receipt of deposit. A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the project is required. It is important that you provide any materials and finalized list of names and addresses to keep the completion of your project on time.
While every project is unique, every timeline is unique.
Envelope turnaround time is approximately 2-3 weeks from the time of receipt of finalized mailing list. This is dependent on quantity, and it will be confirmed if a longer timeline is necessary.
Signage and Day-of Pieces
This widely varies and is dependent on the size and complexity of the order. Please inquire for a specified timeline.
The Ladybird Paper Co. Style Guide outlines exactly how to submit names and addresses for envelopes and place cards. It also shows examples of alignment for envelopes. I will not accept address lists submitted in another format. I will write the information just as given, so it is important that it is proofread.
The Ladybird Paper Co. Etiquette Guide answers all of the most common questions about the formalities and “rules” of salutations and addressing.
